Kadian and Vernon

Well, this session almost didnt start because Vernon and I were watching some football on the bigscreen in the HD Theater, but Kadian and Andrea somehow got him out of the studio and off to their session on the beach! What sports, because it was COLD that evening but they were troopers and although it was frigid out the weather was nice! It will be a nice change of scenery for this wedding as we head north (yes north not south!) for this wedding in Orlando at the Ritz Carlton. We look forward to it! Here are some of Andrea’s favorites from the session, enjoy!

Another Marco Island Beauty!

Could we really have a wedding that took place 3 days ago already posted on the blog? Guess so! Check out this AWESOME couples’ images from our latest Marco Island wedding. They had their beautiful ceremony at sunset on the beach and then danced under the stars with all the jealous hotel guests looking down on the party from their hotel rooms.  Heather and Nathan were the coolest couple and we could so tell they were perfect for each other! Another couple that has been together 10 years! That’s two weddings in a row! And the cooler part was they got married on Nov 7th, just like the brides parents, AND grandparents…..so cool!

Another grand event pulled off by Jacey Wood at the Marco Island Marriott….beautiful!

Elizabeth + Omar Engaged

Omar and Elizabeth were GREAT to work with at their engagement session last week! We typically shoot about an hour for e-sessions, however this couple wanted a taste of everything Miami has, so we started at the lovely Vizcaya Gardens and melted for an hour and a half (its a shame this garden closes at 4:30…too early!) and got some fabulous images there before heading to our 2nd stop….at Bayside marketplace where we got a few more downtown photographs. This was our “in-between” location that we chose to let time go by before we were heading to get some fantastic sunset shots with the miami skyline in the background. Omar was like the best guy ever for hanging in there for such a long shoot—almost 6 hours! The funny thing was that he took longer than Elizabeth before each location to change and get ready…whats up with that Omar! The evening was totally worth it as Omar and Elizabeth are going to be overwhelmed with so many great photographs to choose from! I can’t wait to photograph this couple’s wedding in 2 months! ~ Ryan

A little fun in Marco Island

We had Jennifer and Bill’s Wedding this weekend in Marco Island (I will be posting a few of their images soon). Ryan, Katie, and I had the pleasure of staying at the Marco Island Marriott, it really is such a beautiful resort and a great place to have a wedding for any of you that are still looking for a venue. We have stayed here many times before and we always have the greatest time. One of the great things about the west coast is it’s unbelievable sunsets, and since we drove down a day early, we decided to play a little! Of course my sister Katie (whom most of you know as my assistant on all of shoots) made the perfect model. I would die to be able to do something like a “trash the dress” or an adventurous engagement couple here. Let me know if any of you are interested! We will make a mini vacation out of it!
