It was great to see Harlow in the studio with parents, Dan & Dina. The portraits are just so precious!!!
If you can recall, there was a very cold, very rainy Saturday in January that called for a chance of snow…well that was Melissa and Joe’s wedding day and boy did the weather throw us a curveball! The bride and groom had all the plans to take a bunch of portraits outside on the water, and mother nature just didn’t make that happen! Melissa and Joe were put at ease though when we mentioned that we could do an editorial session for them to get those rockin portraits they deserved! We met Melissa and Joe through another friend’s wedding we photographed and also had worked with their family in the past so we saw some familiar faces at this wedding (and got some good laughs seeing some friends go crazy at the photobooth they had setup there!). When we do editorial sessions, we have no timelines and cocktail hours to worry about….we encourage our brides to do it if they can (and the 15-20% of them that do get some incredible portraits because of it!) Take a look at the gorgeous imagery we got at the beach from their editorial session that just wasn’t a possibility on the wedding day. The only question now is, what one of those spectacular beach shots do we print as a canvas for our studio!!!!
Your patience has paid off! As we begin to “catch” up on our blogging, here are some ridiculously awesome portraits that Andrea has been nailing both in our new studio and on location. She has been kicking on all cylinders since we got in the studio in May and here are some of the hottest portraits to come out of these shoots. This is only “some” of her portrait shoots–believe it or not…if i posted any more I’d be here for hours! Hopefully we can start posting them a few times a weeks now once we get caught up! Baby Rebecca is just 2 weeks old, just how I like them for newborn sessions. Newborns are by far my favorite type of session to do! She did SO amazing during her session, I could’ve just pinched myself! She is the sweetest little baby and I really hope I get to see her again! Enjoy this little teaser!

I LOVE newborns! They are just so cute and cuddly… and I just love to photograph them! There are some rough points of course as well, like getting them to SLEEP, but it truly is one of my favorite sessions! Here is little Azaan, he did fantastic and probably one of my favorite newborns to date!
I was so excited to meet this cute little lovebug after I found out Ana had finally given birth to him! Ana and Luis were so great to drive all the way up from Miami so that I could capture some really adorbale images of him!
I have been waiting for what seems like forever to photograph these little cuties! I have to admit I was nervous because it is hard enough to get one little one alseep, let alone two! We had plenty of helping hands though and thankfully after a little patience we were able to get these cute images.
I shot Liam’s Newborn session a couple of weeks ago, and since we had been working on this new blog, I was never able to post any of his images. It had been so long since I’d had a newborn boy in the studio, I was so excited! Liam will be back in a about a month and a half for his 3 month session. It is so rewarding to watch my BeBe planners grow!
It amazes me that I seem to catch this moment alot… Newborns don’t smile often… usually only when they have gas, haha. I guess my studio brings it out in them.
