Harlow’s Newborn Session

2011 Senior Season is Here!

Our 2011 senior season kicked off yesterday with Lisa from Jensen Beach High School. We have the rest of this month and next month almost completely full with 2011 High School Seniors. We will be shooting seniors consistantly through the next 6 months, and we are looking forward to a rockin 2011 season. If you are a senior, call the studio at 772-283-6807 to setup your sa-weeet senior session with us. You won’t believe the incredible imagery we’ll get for you!
Remember that cold, rainy 35 degree Saturday in January?

If you can recall, there was a very cold, very rainy Saturday in January that called for a chance of snow…well that was Melissa and Joe’s wedding day and boy did the weather throw us a curveball! The bride and groom had all the plans to take a bunch of portraits outside on the water, and mother nature just didn’t make that happen! Melissa and Joe were put at ease though when we mentioned that we could do an editorial session for them to get those rockin portraits they deserved! We met Melissa and Joe through another friend’s wedding we photographed and also had worked with their family in the past so we saw some familiar faces at this wedding (and got some good laughs seeing some friends go crazy at the photobooth they had setup there!). When we do editorial sessions, we have no timelines and cocktail hours to worry about….we encourage our brides to do it if they can (and the 15-20% of them that do get some incredible portraits because of it!) Take a look at the gorgeous imagery we got at the beach from their editorial session that just wasn’t a possibility on the wedding day. The only question now is, what one of those spectacular beach shots do we print as a canvas for our studio!!!!

Farah & Arshad’s Wedding Celebration

We have been looking forward to Farah and Arshad’s fantastic two day Indian celebration for some time and September came quick! We finally got the meet the awesome couple just a few days before at their last minute engagement shoot and a few days later they were married!
We photographed Friday evening’s events at the Eden Roc Resort in Miami Beach on Friday and this was the first of its kind for us…..lets just say we’ve never photographed a groom getting showered in mustard and ketchup and whip cream..and whatever else these guests were pulling out of their pockets! Actually one of the first guests went to throw an egg at Arshad, and he missed, and where does it go? Bam hits me on my leg and splatters all over my pants….have to say that discouraged me just a bit to get too close to the action! But you know us we did get gutsy and jump in there many times (we just planned our angles better from there on out!).
Their wedding on Saturday was at Eden Roc before heading over to the amazing Vizcaya Gardens for their evening reception celebration. Tamara Cohen and her crew from TC Event Design did a great job turning Vizcaya into a grand reception in a matter of only hours! It looked spectacular so kudos to her and her crew for doing some serious organizing and planning to make this event go as smooth as it did! Their crew rocked it!
Congrats to Arshad and Farah! You guys are awesome! Here is a few Andrea picked for the blog. Enjoy! ~Ryan

Any one that is a fan of Focused on Forever on facebook is elegible. Since this is a family drawing, we are looking for families (mother and father, with 2-4 children only). If you have only one child, you may enter the contest, but are only eligible for our runner up prizes. Entering the contest is easy, simply email us an candid image of your family, along with your contact information, and a one or two sentences that say something unique about your family.
