An Epic couple, wedding, and location

Jaime and Matt was such a cool couple and we had the pleasure of filming their awesome event at the Epic Hotel in Miami. We had a great time filming this event with some familiar photographers that we have worked with in the past and totally grabbed the “feel” of Jaime and & Matt, a very real and casual couple who are just in love! Jaime’s day got a rocky start when the weather changed the plans a bit. The lawn ceremony got canceled due to rain (we were looking forward to shooting out there as much as she was!) and the cocktail hour got moved inside as well….BUT the weather couldn’t stop the WEDDING!!! With the help of the “chuppah groomsman” who held up the chuppah for the ceremony, the couple tied the knot before they dazzled their guests with a beautiful reception.

One aspect of a wedding film that most don’t think about is humor. This couple and film had it. Matt loosened up at the reception just a bit……and we thought, because its probably ”oh so like him” to bring you an extended trailer with a few bonus clips at the end. :) I can just see Jaime and Matt (and most likely any of their friends) getting a kick out of Matt tearing his pants while busting his moves on the dance floor.

Enjoy :)

Sara & Ben ~ Featured Film

Not too often do we post a full feature film from weddings, but since Sara and Ben were our “My Wedding is Gonna Rock” contest winners back last fall, I figured it would be nice to share their feature film…..what a great couple…relive their day!

New Years Eve Wedding in Key West

Andrea and I made the trip down to good ole’ Key West for an intimate sunset wedding at the great Casa Marina Resort in Key West, FL. Although John seemed a bit quiet during the day (nerves? who knows but I think he was just ready to get married and get the New Years partying started!), Lani was yippy all day and wow was she just a gorgeous bride. Stunning.

The event was planned by one of our new favorite planning companies, Tamara Cohen, from TC Event Design. You can meet Tamara and see more of her at www.tceventdesign.com You couldn’t have asked for a nicer ceremony and the reception ballroom looked fantastic.

We look forward to the occasional Keys weddings a few times a year, and we hadn’t been in Key West for a wedding in year or two so it was nice to end off 2009 at the afterparty at the Hard Rock in Key West with the newlyweds! Congrats Lani……Hey I even beat Alain with your wedding to the blog…wahoo! :)

Sam + Lissette

Just finished up on this beauty from the Spanish Monastery that we filmed in November for this great couple.  We caught some amazing light out back of the Monastery just in time for formals and we caught some truly beautiful footage, what am I saying?…just take a look at the trailer and watch!!! ~ Ryan

Vanessa + Kevin

Talk about a miracle….this beach wedding almost never took place on the beqach due to bad weather all day! I woke up that morning and there was a tornado watch for most of South Florida and I remember thinking there was no way they were having their wedding on the beach. It was raining when we got there, and raining when we left, but somehow it cleared up for about 45 minutes for this fantastic beach wedding to take place. I have to say, I much rather shoot a December beach wedding than a May one…it was beautiful outside. This couple had a lot of fun at their wedding and between the DJ, the cigars, the buffet, the “fun/photo wall”, and everything else that was happening at this party, the guests were having a lot of fun! Christie from Pelican Grand Resort kept did a great job organizing and making sure everything went off without a hitch! Congrats to Kevin and Vanessa!

Sara + Ben…..Beautiful Couple, Beautiful Day

Sara and Ben’s beachside wedding took place at the Hilton Bentley Miami/South Beach hotel, and what can we say….a beautiful couple and a beautiful day made this wedding nothing less than spectacular. We had never met Sara and Ben in person before the wedding day, so we didn’t know what to expect–but when you see these two interact you just feel the love! After a short beach ceremony, this couple had a lovely reception and their guests just straight up danced the night away! We had a great time putting this film together and we hope you enjoy it!

Nothing but smiles :)

Our team had the privilege to shoot Andrea and Jason’s wedding in Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale a few weeks back and we had a lot of fun putting together an amazing film with this couple. They were so nice and smiley all day! :)

Here’s a trailer from their wedding at St. Patrick’s Church in Miami Beach and their reception at the Westin Diplomat!

Hidden Gem in Parkland

We had a great time filming for Raquel & Jay, in Parkland back in October. This country club is certainly a hidden gem—a very nice location for an outside ceremony and beautiful ballroom. Maybe its private, but if not and you are still looking for a location in that area, certainly check it out!

After a beautiful sunset wedding ceremony, Raquel and Jay partied it up at the reception….check out the trailer! ~ Ryan

A 10 Year Love Story

Heather and Nathan is another couple that has been together almost a decade….and what a great way to start off their married lives….a grand wedding in Marco Island! To experience for a few moments the highlights of their wedding day….take a quick look at the trailer. We once again rendered this higher quality than regular web video so once the video starts, you may wish to pause it for a few minutes and let it load completely before hitting play again. ~ Ryan

Farah & Randy’s Ancient Spanish Monastery ROCKIN’ film!

BEFORE YOU PLAY: READ INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

Farah and Randy were one of our runner up winners from our “My Wedding is Gonna Rock” contest earlier this summer. So much love was in the air at this wedding and Andrea and I put together a “rocking” film from their wedding. One of our favorites this year!

Though most brides won’t know of the difference or pay attention to the equipment we use, some of our friends in the industry might like to know that this was the first wedding we shot entirely all with all DSLR cameras…all the footage is shot with Canon 5D and 7D cameras…and looks stunning!

BEFORE YOU PLAY: This film was rendered in near HD quality, and may take a minute to load. Press the play button, then press the pause button as you wait a minute for it to completely load before starting. It’s worth the wait, and much better than having it stop halfway through if you have slower internet! Also press the black square in the bottom right corner of the player to go full screen…don’t watch it so small!

Leave some commet love if you like it!
