I’m in New York at the moment but I wanted to post a short trailer from Dia & Mike’s wedding at the Diplomat! Enjoy!

Well we’ve shot several weddings now in Marco Island (our favorite semi-destination wedding location…..not too far but not too close!) and we have a 50% chance of rain that comes with every Marco Island wedding we shoot! Thankfully a few weekends ago we had a beautiful day and a beautiful couple to work with! Jacklyn and Andy were so sweet and there wedding was just plain awesome!
After shooting some great footage and getting some gorgeous photographs at her parent’s house, Andrea, I, and our team left for Marco Island Catholic Church where the couple tied the knot, and then over to the final stop for the day, the Marco Island Marriott. Jacey Woods and the Marriott team did a fantastic job making sure everything was perfect on the day…..and Oh perfect it was! I’m sure the many hours of work as well by Jaclyn and her wedding-planning sister Carrie completely paved the way for how amazing everything turned out. Everyone gasped walking into the reception!
Here are a few of Andrea’s favorites……the trailer film is coming soon! Oh by the way, does anyone else refer to people by their email names? We refer to this bride as Yaky Jackie!
Probably always will! Looking forward to another September and November wedding in Marco Island in a few months!
Besides the gorgeous bride that walked down the aisle, I have to say I was looking forward to Matt & Kristy’s sweet little dog all dressed in pink waddling down the aisle as the ceremony started. So cute and so well behaved (was he a bit high on Benadryl?). When Kristy asked me to photograph all the dog’s “beauty details”, I have to say i kind of smiled since I’ve never shot dog details before–but there is always a first!
The rain sort of changed our portrait plans, but being that Matt & Kristy are AWESOME–they agreed to still go over to the small little bridge in Jupiter Island and get a few portraits while it started to sprinkle. Totally worth it!
Trish from Exquisite Details handled all the planning for the event and was super succesufl on making hte last minute adjustments with the rain coming in and moved the ceremony under cover but still looking amazing. Great job to her and the Jupiter island Staff.
Congrats to this couple—one of my favorites for sure this year! They even made it through the sparklers at the end with no guests on fire……yeah! ~Ryan
As you may not know, Andrea and I got married at Frenchmans Reserve in Palm Beach Gardens so everytime we shoot there its seems a bit more special. Amanda and Michael finally tied the knot here at lovely Frenchman’s Reserve (they backed their wedding up an extra year, so they had a nice long wait till wedding day!)–wonderfully coordinated by one of the best catering managers in Palm Beach, Pat Saylor (she’s so on top of things at Frenchmans!). Here are some of Andrea’s favorites!
We photographed several weddings over the last few weeks in Jupiter…..this one at Abacoa Country Club in Jupiter. The lovely ceremony was at St Christophers in Hobe Sound, where we spent sometime in the courtyard after the ceremony getting some nice portraits before heading to Abacoa Golf Course for some twighlight images after sunset. We got SUPER lucky on the way to the reception since we decided to take an alternate route that we thought would be quicker and as we jumped on I-95 we saw the EMT helicopter landing…well there was a bad accident completely shutting down 95 about 1000 feet before the entrance to 95..THANK GOD! if the accident had happened only 1000 more feet further we couldnt have got on 95 and would have had to retrace all the way back to the ceremony then take an alternate route and would have been at least 45 minutes late to the reception! Good thing that didnt happen!

Kacy has a new last name
Hopefully she’s used to pronouncing it now since its been a few weeks! Kacy and Brett got hitched several weeks ago at St Josephs Catholic Church in Stuart, then off to Willoughby Golf Club for a lovely evening reception.
Taking care off all the fine details was Christine Terezakis of Dreamday Celebrations.
This wedding was a true testament to why you need a planner…..The bride’s mom needed Christine more than ever to help put everything together as several “details” got mixed up last minute with one of the vital vendors….glad Christine got it all worked out for the bride and groom and everything went great on the wedding day!
