Vizcaya Engagement Shoot

Posted in Engagement, Uncategorized

Albert & Melissa wanted us to travel to Miami for their engagement shoot so we decided to shoot at the lovely Vizcaya. Ryan and I made the trip down and after about 2 hours of shooting we were pushed out by the security guard since it was closing time….we couldnt stop taking more portraits :) Of course, the grounds are beautiful, and with this great looking couple the shoot went amazing….so I ended up with like 50 images to blog, a good problem right? I picked out about 15 or so to show today…and then if the couple agrees, I think we have a new sample engagement session album coming your way to peek at as well! Then you will see all 50 images and an engagement album!

Here are some shots from their maternity session last week….cant wait to do the newborn shoot very very soon for your new son!

Katie & Adam…Married 10-18-08!

Katie & Adam got married at a small church in downtown Stuart (I went to church for 5 years right across the street and didn’t even that church existed there!). Katie was calm as ever the whole day (minus the 2 panic voicemails she left me 20 minutes before I arrived at the church since I wasnt answering my cell phone that morning since it broke the night before….). The couple had a great ceremony and lovely reception at Harbour Ridge in Palm City where DJ Lou from Paragon Entertainment entertained the guests as usual with their great music.

On a side note, the couple had a song played during the ceremony that was written by a Christian band called Tenth Avenue North..which is my favorite band. Little did Katie know the person who actually wrote that song, Mike Donehey sang at my wedding. Furthermore, that specific song was actually personally written for Ana’s (my equipment asst that was helping me at the wedding) sister and debuted by Mike Donehey at Ana’s sister’s wedding 5 years ago! Ironic!

Ring Bearer!

One of my fav shots from the day…she looked beautiful!

Nothing more emotional than a hug from Grandpa.

The ladies with their matching bridesmaids bags!

It was worth that last shot Adam :)

Honestly, Dad gave one of the best “dad toasts” I’ve ever heard. So sincere and loving. He even brought a little white dress that his daughter (Katie) wore when she was little. I think the whole family table was sobbing…Great Job Dad!

A little fun with the shutter on the dance floor. Can you guess to what song?

Chanel and Russell’s Wedding

Posted in Weddings

I have been really wanting to post this wedding for the past 2 weeks now and I am JUST now gettin the opportunity! It has been so busy around here with lots of shooting going on! I was really excited to photograph Chanel’s wedding because I knew it would be very elegant. Chanel had let me know about a week before the day of that she really wanted an image to submit to Town and Country Magazine, so I really tried my best to oblige! I hope we got what you needed Chanel! -Andrea

Happy Happy Happy Bride :)

Posted in Weddings

Celie never stopped smiling all day! She was such a happy bride! I had a great time documenting the day for Mario & Celie and look forward to building their album. Their church provided some oppurtunity for some nice portraits indoors with some nice brick and stained glass to work with so I was able to get some nice portraits indoors for them, in contrast from doing most of the portraits outdoors as we do most of the time since the inside of churches sometimes always don’t provide the best visual backgrounds…their small church did! It was really muggy out anyways, so it worked out great! I’ll share just a few shots below of their day! ~RyanCelie and her mom share a moment before the wedding.
Mario said he “had a wave of nausea” when ‘here comes the bride’ started playing, which made me laugh a little…since usually groom’s are too tough to tell me they were nervous. But he said he quickly felt better. I think he was about to shed a tear during the vows here.
My favorite shot from the day. This is on the cover of their custom proof book.
Someone taking advantage of the candy table!

A little casino fun on the yacht…

Posted in Corporate

Not something I would normally blog, but hey why not. I photographed a small corporate event on a yacht in Fort Lauderdale for a networking company out of Arizona and thought I would share just a few candids. Nothing fancy, just along to catch some candid moments of the guests! It was a great night for a ride on the intercoastal…nice and cool and not too muggy!

~Ryan

Scott & Kathy, two of the event coordinators, take the first portrait of the night with the wonderful showgirls.

Blackjack…Andrea and my favorite card game!

He thought he had blackjack and hit 21….but…....then realized he busted and went over. Guess he lost a lot of chips on that one. :)

No one was winning at the slots, so I told her to pretend. She did a good job I would say.

I think this company is hosting another event in November, hopefully we can be a part of that one too!

Guiselle & Andres’ Muy Caliente Engagement Session

Not only are Guiselle and Andres’ amazingly hott, but they make for one sexy seductive photo shoot! This was SO much fun for me, it’s not that often I get to do stuff like this and I would like to do more! I can’t wait for their wedding because I just know Guiselle is going to be one drop dead gorgeous bride! By the way, I am sorry for using so many exlamation points in my blog posts, I am just so excited about all that we have going on around here!!!!

I have been waiting for what seems like forever to photograph these little cuties! I have to admit I was nervous because it is hard enough to get one little one alseep, let alone two! We had plenty of helping hands though and thankfully after a little patience we were able to get these cute images.

Jennifer and Bill’s Wedding

Posted in Weddings

Two weeks ago we were in Marco Island for Jennifer and Bill’s Wedding. I just love it over there and I am always excited to get a little mini vacation everytime we go! The weather brought some challanges, but we still had a great time with Jennifer and Bill and everyone knows that rain is good luck!
